The in-flight entertainment system is for many very important, especially on long flights, and now the airline Emirates have chosen to enhance the experience for those travelling in economy class with the introduction of new headphones. The new headphones are designed to improve sound quality, reduce noise and provide greater comfort. The headphones are rectangular and the interior is made of leather to provide better comfort to the ears. The new headphones will first be introduced on Emirates’ Airbus A380 in June, and on Emirates’ Boeing 777 aircraft later in 2015. - Emirates' headphones for passengers in Economy Class are among the best that are currently used by commercial airlines, and we have always believed that the sound quality is very important to create a great entertainment experience. The new design will elevate the sound quality to the next level and passengers can now enjoy even more of the wide range of entertainment offered on board, says Patrick Brannelly, Divisional Vice President, Customer Experience (IFE & Connectivity).
