Emirates deploys A380 on world's longest route - Dubai to Auckland
Responding to robust passenger demand, Emirates has enhanced its Dubai to Auckland non-stop route—renowned as the world’s longest commercial flight—by deploying its iconic Airbus A380, delivering an elevated standard of luxury and space.
Since October 30, Emirates has operated the state-of-the-art A380 on its daily direct service connecting Dubai with Auckland, New Zealand’s vibrant cosmopolitan hub. This upgrade, implemented just months after the route’s debut with the Boeing 777-200LR, underscores Emirates’ commitment to providing an unparalleled long-haul travel experience.
Flight EK448 offers a seamless journey, departing Dubai at 10:05 and arriving in Auckland at 11:10 the next day. The return, EK449, leaves Auckland nightly at 21:15, touching down in Dubai at 5:35 the following morning. These timings allow for optimal connections and convenience for global travelers.
Complementing this flagship nonstop service, Emirates continues to operate three daily A380 flights from Auckland to Dubai via Australia, as well as a daily Boeing 777-300ER service from Christchurch, ensuring travelers across New Zealand have access to Emirates’ award-winning hospitality and amenities.
