Dukes Hotel London is to get its counterpart in Dubai.
The luxury hotel group, Dukes Collection, are to open Dukes Dubai in December on the west trunk of Palm Jumeirah.
The new hotel will offer classic English luxury, inspired by its prestigious sister property in London.
Spread over 15 floors, including the women-only Duchess floor, the hotel will house 279 stylish rooms (somewhat more than its 90-room boutique sister), of which 64 will be luxury suites, and 227 fully-furnished serviced apartments. Each will boast spectacular beach-front views along the famous Palm Islands.
The Dukes Hotel Dubai An outdoor infinity pool will offer views of the hotel’s extravagant setting, including the hotel’s private beach indoor, whilst an atmospheric indoor pool and cocktail bar will occupy the 15th floor.
The hotel is teaming up with a number of quality British suppliers to bring a quintessentially British feel to the UAE for the first time.
Its two fine-dining restaurants, The Great British Restaurant (GBR) and Khyber, are both headed up by Londoner and award winning Executive Head Chef, Martin Cahill, with both serving international cuisine. inspired James Bond author Ian Flemming’s “shaken, not stirred” line

The Dukes Hotel Dubai
A Tea Lounge dedicated to serving afternoon tea and a private Gentleman’s Cigar Lounge complete the British semblance. There will also be a private beach club and spa.
Nightly rates at Dukes Dubai start from approx’ £213 per night for a standard room, including breakfast for two.
