Over his career, Nigel has had many successes, including capturing one of the world’s most endangered species on camera - the Indian one-horned rhinoceros - which he says is one of the most defining points in his career. He has also encountered his fair share of mishaps, including being bitten by a venomous green pit viper while in Malaysia in 2014 during the filming of Eating Wild. Let’s hope he’s more careful this time.
Speaking of the coming collaboration with The Datai, Nigel said, “I can’t wait to get lost in The Datai’s magical surroundings and work with Irshad. He is such an expert in the local wildlife and has so much respect for it. It will be a real joy to help him educate guests about the natural world and speak with them about my varied career.”
