Brussels Airlines has this week opened its new lounge in Brussels.
‘The Suite’ is located in Terminal B at Brussels Airport and is double the size of the previous Terminal B lounge. It offers a contemporary design and ample opportunity for travellers to relax ahead of their flight to the United States, Canada, Russia, Israel, Great Britain or Morocco.
Eighteen months ago, Brussels Airlines inaugurated 'The Loft' in Terminal A - a lounge which, according to Brussels Airlines, quickly became very popular with business travellers and frequent flyers. The new lounge facility has capacity for 160 guests and, in the same manner as ‘The Loft’, contains various areas for different travel needs. A working area is available for travellers who want to continue their work at the airport, a quiet zone is reserved for passengers who want to relax in comfortable seats before their departure, whilst the food area offers an extensive buffet. Additionally, a reading area is available with a selection of newspapers and magazines.
"With 'The Suite', Brussels Airlines underlines once again its role as the leading airline in Brussels. Every year, over 500,000 guests enjoy the Brussels Airlines’ “extra smile” in one of our lounges in Brussels. Following the opening of our amazing lounge ‘The Loft’, the launch of 'The Suite' illustrates once more our dedication to continuously improve the travel experience for our guests, both in the air and on the ground,” says Brussels Airlines Chief Commercial Officer Lars Redeligx.
The opening of the new lounge comes as Brussels Airlines gradually resumes its flights out of Brussels Airport following the recent terror attacks at the airport, with the airlines’ CEO Bernard Gustin commenting: "While our thoughts remain deeply with the great human suffering, our colleagues do their utmost to bring our passengers to their destination.”
