Hyatt Regency Sydney, Australia’s largest luxury hotel, has opened in Sydney.
The former Four Points by Sheraton has undergone a major refurbishment and rebranding to become a Hyatt Regency property.
Hyatt Regency Sydney's new 24-storey tower The $250 million (approx £199m) redevelopment has seen the addition of a new 24-storey tower and 222 luxurious guestrooms, making it the country's largest 5-star hotel with a total of 892 rooms.
Other new features of the lavish hotel include a brand new rooftop bar with stunning views of Darling Harbour (opening in late December), extensive meeting and event spaces, and the new Regency Club Lounge.

In a press release, Hyatt said the new property is set to become a go-to gathering place, with its unparalleled location in the Sydney Central Business District, adjacent to Darling Harbour, providing the perfect setting for business and leisure travellers alike.
Lobby
The hotel also features the 272-seat, all-day dining restaurant The Sailmaker, and The Lobby Lounge.
Hyatt Regency Sydney is taking bookings for its new tower and its 222 additional rooms for stays from December 27.
