Amari Koh Samui to reopen this week
Amari Koh Samui will this week reopen following a a 12-month refurbishment - with updated guest rooms, public and outdoor areas, spa and restaurants.
A favourite since it opened 25 years ago, the 197-room Amari Koh Samui will reopen on April 1. The resort comprises of three wings – the Garden Wing, Thai Village Wing and Beach Wing - with rooms overlooking lush gardens, and a contemporary Thai design.
The new Amaya Food Gallery The refurbishment will see the introduction of a new dining option at the note, the Amaya Food Gallery - an all-day dining venue with Asian food and interactive, open kitchens. Guests can also visit the new Amaya Bar and Amaya Café.
The new Voyager Lounge Also new to the resort is the Voyager Lounge, offering “a cool escape from the sun and space to catch up on reading or a board game.” Italian restaurant Prego will also reopen with a fresh new look. “Having been in operation for over 25 years, Amari Koh Samui is one of the most popular resorts on Chaweng Beach, attracting a significant number of repeat visitors year after year,” said the resort’s General Manager, Ingo Domaschke. “As our guest needs continue to evolve, we recognise the importance of re-energising our physical spaces, whilst still retaining the original hospitality and charm. The resort’s brand-new look is fantastic, very contemporary and above all, comfortable and functional.”
Revamped Guest Room The resort’s Breeze Spa has also been renovated, while other guest facilities include outdoor pools, a fitness centre and dive centre.
