Travelling in business class or first class on scheduled airlines just gets better and better with each passing year, but for those who are still not satisfied with the personal service and facilities, there remains the possibility of chartering a private jet. One of the airlines that now also offers a private jet to individuals is Emirates, with 'Emirates Executive' launched in the autumn of 2013. The executive aircraft, an Airbus A319, takes only 19 passengers and is divided into two main areas - a lounge area, for working, dining or socialising, and a seating and sleeping area with first class suites. The lounge is located at the front of the aircraft and seats 12 passengers. It has armchairs and sofas arranged around two large tables that can be rearranged depending on the purpose. The lounge also has two 42-inch LCD TVs. Food and drink can be pre-ordered as desired. Behind the lounge there is a section with ten first class suites, not unlike those found on Emirates' Airbus A380 and Boeing 777, with doors that can be slid shut and a seat that reclines to a fully flat position. Each suite has its own 32-inch screen, while the aircraft is equipped with Emirates' ICE entertainment system and WiFi. The back of the aircraft is similar to first class on the Airbus A380, with a bathroom with shower, furnished in a marble-like material with underfloor heating. The aircraft has a range of 3700 nautical miles and can fly to a large part of Europe, Asia and Africa from its base in Dubai Market and demand for executive jets has grown in recent years. North America still has the largest demand, with over 40 percent of the market, but regions such as Asia and Latin America are expected to increase.
