From June 8, Heinz Beck will be taking up his summer quarters at the famous Monaco hotel. He will be the guest of honour at in-house restaurant Odyssey after the hotel’s head of gastronomy, Joël Robuchon, and his executive chef, Christophe Cussac, invited him to create a pop-up restaurant at the hotel. It will showcase some of his renowned signature dishes during dinner service from 7.30pm.
Since its opening in 2013, Odyssey has impressed with its high-end gastronomy. Only fresh, high-quality and seasonal ingredients are used, whilst dishes are prepared with meticulous precision to keep standards from dropping. Known for his fantastical expression of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, Heinz Beck is planning to offer an “unforgettable gastronomic experience” to the backdrop of Karl Lagerfeld’s Grecian heated seawater swimming pool in the al fresco restaurant
. A starter and main course will start at €150 (approx’ £127), excluding drinks.

Odyssey restaurant with Karl Lagerfeld's pool
In the hotel’s main restaurant, Joël Robuchon, in partnership with Head Chef Christophe Cussac, offers Mediterranean-accented, sophisticated fare, with a focus on quality produce. The restaurant’s open Teppanyaki-style kitchen creates an interactive relationship between the chef and the guests and a meal here is a culinary lesson. There is also another Michelin-starred eatery, a smart sushi bar called YOSHI.
Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo has also just reopened of gorgeous its spa on 12 April, unveiling a new partnership with Givenchy. Designed by renowned architect Didier Gomez, the spa is Givenchy’s first in Monaco and third worldwide. It offers ten spacious treatment rooms including two private suites, a relaxing bathtub and integrated Hammam shower, private locker and restroom.
Beautiful suites at the Metropole two signature treatments exclusive to Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo using Givenchy’s Le Soin Noir product range, which contains exotic ingredients such as Vital Black Algae Sap Concentrate, a natural age-defying ingredient, Givenchy claims. Adjacent to the reception area, Spa Metropole by Givenchy also offers guests a boutique, selling Givenchy products, perfume and makeup.
