The stunning new addition to the city, named the Principal Penthouse, comes after a multi-million-pound refurbishment. It stretches over 1,850 sq.ft and comes with a private entrance and lift ensuring discretion for any high-profile guests staying at the hotel. Designed by the distinguished team at Graven Images, the penthouse also has an outdoor terrace that offers views across the city, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, bar and dining room.
The master suite features a dressing room and a marble bathroom with a bespoke steam room, sunken bath and an integrated TV. The latest wireless technology has also been seamlessly installed to ensure an impeccable sound system that flows to every room. The carefully curated selection of furniture has been sourced from iconic brands including B&B Italia, Tom Dixon and Moroso. In fact, everything in the penthouse has been hand-picked to create a “sophisticated, contemporary abode with a Glasgow twist.”
Murray Thomson, General Manager, of the hotel, said that penthouse has been months in the planning and the finished product is even more spectacular than he could have imagined. “There is a perfect balance between sleek lines and soft furnishings and the private roof garden looks out at the Glasgow skyline delivering one of the best views in the city. Now we are in a position to reveal the new look we can’t wait to welcome guests and let them experience the exceptional service that we are renowned for,” he continued. Reservations for the penthouse are now being taken. Prices start at £2,500 per night. Event packages can be created on request including a personalised butler and chef.
