Greek airline Aegean has announced a collaboration with three distinguished Greek chefs for its new business class menu.
Together, the three major representatives of modern Greek gastronomy – namely Lefteris Lazarou, Christoforos Peskias and Stelios Parliaros – will take the stories of Greek gastronomy on a journey across the globe through the new airline’s new “Gastronomics” initiative.
Aegean’s business class passengers will be given the opportunity to try dishes that carry the aromas and flavours of Greece, as well as sample some new fine wines courtesy of Greece’s first-ever Master of Wine, and AEGEAN’s wine consultant, Konstantinos Lazarakis.
The airline said in a press release that the initiative will see Greek flavours from Crete, Naxos, the Peloponnese, and ingredients from all over Greece “travel to every international destination on AEGEAN’s network.”
The three top chefs have created a menu of over 40 different dishes that highlight local products and wines from both small and large-scale producers to present the most authentic piece of Greece.
The collaboration will run throughout 2018.
