Regarded as one of the most luxurious duty-free shopping experiences in the world, Qatar Duty Free announced that the new rendition of the famous London department store will offer an “enhanced product range in a luxurious new shopping environment fitting of two iconic destinations,” meaning Harrods and HIA.
This second boutique features a range of carefully selected items, including favourites such as Harrods bags, wallets, accessories and food gifting. Many of these gifting products are as iconic as Harrods itself, giving customers a chance to take a piece of the brand away with them to cherish as a permanent memento.
Head of Qatar Duty Free, Mr. Thabet Musleh, explained how the original store has been hugely popular among passenger travelling through the airport, which is why the decision was taken to open an even bigger branch and give travellers more choice from an enhanced range of luxury items.
“By opening our second Harrods store, we will continue to provide travellers with one of the most desirable luxury shopping experiences at Qatar Duty Free,” Musleh said.
As one of the largest duty-free retailers in the world, Qatar Duty Free boasts more than 90 high-end boutiques and stores, as well as more than 30 restaurants and cafés. Other luxury brands available at the five-star airport include Bulgari, Hermès, Giorgio Armani, Hugo Boss, Mont Blanc, Rolex and Chanel.
