The BusinessClass.com guide to the best suites in the sky:
ANA The Room
Inspired by Japanese heritage and Western design principles, ANA The Room is one of the world’s most relaxing cabin spaces. One of the routes is offered on the Boeing 777-300ER which flies from Tokyo to New York. ANA’s new Business Class cabin is impressive, with 64 seats. At the front of the plane is a mini-cabin with eight seats spread across two rows in a 1-2-1 configuration so if you happen to sit in the middle seats you can pull down the dividers to separate the seats and close the aisle doors to ensure privacy or bring it down so you can chat to your neighbour. Many passengers prefer the two-row mini-cabin as it is much more intimate and quieter than the large cabin. Then there is the main cabin with 40 seats spread across 10 rows. Finally, the rear cabin has 16 seats spread across four rows.
While privacy is the aim of the suites, each guest can enjoy a roomy and secluded environment with innovative comfort. Having their own door separating the surrounding seats gives the feel of a private suite in a five-star hotel, where you can be social or simply close your door and forget you are even flying. ANA provides pjs in Business Class and there is also a "Globetrotter" brand amenity kit placed on each seat. The colour scheme is very corporate with wooden panels and black seats with blue cushions. All the features and its design come together in a very clean and neat package.
Qatar Airways QSuites
Privacy and space are why many choose a Business Class seat, and QSuites are among the best in class. This includes a double bed perfect for travelling couples. However, if you want some privacy, the space can be re-configured into individual spaces and put up a do not disturb sign for the rest of your journey. Passengers find White Company pjs on the flight and inflight entertainment with 4,000 media to choose from. Each business class flyer gets an Italian luxury amenity kit designed by BRIC’s and Castello Monte Vibiano brimming with skincare products and in-flight necessities, so you arrive fresh at your destination.
