Starting on 1st June, passengers in United's premium cabins on long-haul international flights will receive complimentary Wrexham AFC-inspired amenity kits filled with travel essentials including an eye mask, toothbrush, toothpaste, and exclusive Therabody skincare products. Additionally, United Polaris passengers on flights 14 hours or longer will receive pajamas designed to mimic the team’s uniforms. The pajamas feature a long-sleeve Wrexham red shirt and gray pants, showcasing United's logo as the front-of-jersey sponsor.
The limited-edition Wrexham AFC amenity kits and pajamas are offered in celebration of the Welsh football team's promotion to League One and their growing global fanbase, fuelled by the Emmy award-winning television show "FX's Welcome to Wrexham".
United and Wrexham AFC collaborated on the design of these amenity kits and pajamas, drawing inspiration from the team’s crest, jerseys, and overall aesthetic. The offerings include:
- United x Wrexham AFC Amenity Case: Available to United Polaris Business Class travellers, this reusable toiletry case features the Wrexham crest and comes in red, black, or white. It includes a top handle, wrap-around zipper, and a loop for convenient hanging.
- United x Wrexham AFC Amenity Pouch: Available to United Premium Plus travellers, this slim, reusable zippered pouch also features the Wrexham crest and comes in red, black, or white, fitting easily into a carry-on bag.
- United x Wrexham AFC Pajamas: Available to United Polaris Business Class travellers on flights 14 hours or longer, this lightweight pajama set includes a red long-sleeve shirt with the Wrexham AFC and United logos on the front, designed to resemble the team jersey, and gray pants with the United logo on the hip.
Each amenity kit includes a United-exclusive Therabody hand cream, lip balm, cleansing towelette, bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, eye mask, ear plugs, and socks. Additionally, the United Polaris kit includes a Therabody eye serum, face spray, tissues, and a United pen.
United is expanding fan access to Wrexham AFC during the club's 2024-2025 season, marking its second year partnering with the team. As the front-of-jersey sponsor for both the men’s and women’s teams, United’s name and logo feature prominently on Wrexham AFC shirts during games. Additionally, United will sponsor the club's North American summer tour, including flying the teams to games and offering exclusive benefits to MileagePlus members.
