United Airlines - new safety video - a must-watch!

After nearly a year in creative development, United Airlines has launched a groundbreaking safety video that sets a new standard in in-flight communication. This production features 171 tailored versions, meticulously crafted for United’s diverse fleet of eight aircraft models, accommodating 20 unique cabin layouts, and available in 18 languages. The project brought together 17 United team members—ranging from flight attendants and pilots to ground crew, technicians, and operations specialists. An intricate kinetic installation, inspired by aviation themes, features 12 custom-built mechanisms and incorporates over 1,000 authentic dominoes. The iconic “Rhapsody in Blue” by George Gershwin, a hallmark of United’s brand, continues as the video’s evocative soundtrack.

Titled "Safety in Motion," the video follows a dynamic ball on a mesmerizing journey through a Rube Goldberg-style contraption. Along the way, the ball interacts with airline-inspired elements—such as snack carts, seatbelts, overhead bins, and windows—while genuine United employees expertly demonstrate essential safety instructions. This engaging approach ensures every passenger, from seasoned business travelers to first-time flyers, remains attentive and informed.

Our editorial team was thoroughly impressed by the creativity and clarity of United’s latest safety feature.
