Travelers opting for Qantas Business Class aboard the flagship A380 on flight QF2 from Singapore to Sydney can now indulge in a refined new dining concept. Qantas, renowned for its commitment to premium service, has elevated its overnight offering with an exclusive 'Room Service Supper,' allowing guests to enjoy a tailored meal directly at their seat—transformed into a lie-flat bed for maximum comfort.
With this innovative approach, Business Class passengers are invited to select their supper from a curated menu. The culinary team thoughtfully prepares each meal in the galley and presents it elegantly on a single tray at the guest’s preferred time, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
This service replaces the previous trolley-based meal delivery, reducing both aisle traffic and ambient noise, and enhancing the restfulness of the cabin. Qantas research revealed that a significant portion of premium travelers on the Singapore–Sydney route dine in the lounge pre-flight and prefer uninterrupted rest after takeoff. The new system caters precisely to these preferences, without compromising the quality or breadth of the meal—including a sophisticated wine selection.
While the 'Room Service Supper' began as a pilot project, it has received overwhelmingly positive feedback. As of 2025, Qantas is actively expanding this initiative across its Asia-to-Australia overnight network, setting a new benchmark for in-flight Business Class dining.
