Qatar Airways has opened The Garden, the new Al Mourjan Business Lounge at Hamad International Airport.
Open to the airline's premium passengers, The Garden - described as “a tranquil and luxurious sanctuary” spans over 7,390 square metres and can accommodate up to 707 passengers.
The lounge boasts 24 quiet spaces and seven spa treatment rooms. Passengers can indulge in a range of premium facilities, including various dining options, relaxation rooms, a fitness studio, pedicure & manicure stations, spa facilities, dedicated private spaces, recreational areas and a nursery. The lounge is influenced by modern aesthetics incorporating natural light in its distinct design, providing passengers with an immersive experience reflecting The Orchard.
The new lounge complements the iconic Al Mourjan Business Lounge - South, which is exclusively available to Qatar Airways First and Business Class passengers. Together, the two lounges can accommodate up to 1,600 passengers at once, offering facilities that include showers, dressing rooms, business areas, and spaces to unwind at the Northern and Southern parts of Doha's international airport.
Facilities at The Garden include quiet rooms, showers and washrooms, a nursery, children's playroom, game room, smoking room, and a gym equipped with treadmills, elliptical exercise bikes, and locker rooms. The spa features manicure/pedicure stations, neck and shoulder massage chairs, relaxation chairs, treatment rooms, and changing rooms.
In the East Wing, passengers can enjoy a range of dining options, including hot and cold buffets featuring extensive varieties of international and local cuisine, fresh bakery selection, cakes and desserts, sushi station, made-to-order salads, breakfast bowls, and poke bowls. The Coffee and Patisserie Bar serves fresh fruits, juices, and smoothies, a selection of pastries, made-to-order sandwiches, barista-prepared hot and cold beverages, and a gelato and ice cream station. The Cocktail and Bistro Bar offers savory bites and appetizers, wine, spirits, beer, cocktails, and mocktails.
The West Wing features showers, quiet areas, prayer rooms, and meeting rooms, in addition to a Coffee and Patisserie Bar serving fresh fruits, juices, and smoothies, a selection of pastries, made-to-order sandwiches, and barista-prepared hot and cold beverages. The Refreshment Station offers a tea and coffee selection, light snacks, Arabic sweets, and popular beverages.
