Qatar Airways opens new Frequent Flyer Lounge and premium check-in area at Heathrow

Qatar Airways has introduced a second, meticulously designed lounge and an exclusive premium check-in enclave for its top-tier passengers at London Heathrow’s Terminal 4. The innovative Frequent Flyer Lounge, the first of its kind outside the Doha hub, offers a sophisticated upgrade for eligible guests seeking a seamless and luxurious start to their journey. This strategic expansion reflects Qatar Airways' commitment to exceeding expectations as international travel demand continues to surge in 2025.

Strategically positioned on Level 2, directly across from Gate 6 and a level below the renowned First and Business Class Premium Lounge, the Frequent Flyer Lounge welcomes guests daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Access is reserved for Privilege Club Platinum and Gold members as well as Oneworld Sapphire and Emerald elites, including those flying with British Airways, American Airlines, Iberia, Alaska Airlines, Finnair, Cathay Pacific, JAL, Malaysia Airlines, and Qantas.

The lounge showcases a contemporary aesthetic featuring luxe materials, designer furnishings, and panoramic runway views. Guests enjoy a curated selection of hot and cold dishes from an international buffet, with seasonal options and freshly prepared specialties.

Following the recent reimagining of the Premium Lounge—now offering refined seating, dedicated family spaces, a fully equipped business center, an artisanal martini bar, and a choice of à la carte or buffet dining—Qatar Airways has further elevated the premium experience with a newly enclosed, tranquil check-in lobby for First and Business Class. This private area ensures a discreet, stress-free start to the journey, with attentive staff managing all formalities while guests relax with a beverage before being personally welcomed into the main lounge.

Qatar Airways now serves over 160 global destinations across six continents and operates daily departures from four UK gateways: London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester, and Edinburgh, maintaining its reputation for exceptional service and award-winning hospitality.
