Qatar Airways has unveiled new QVerse digital environments, enabling users to plan their travel in a virtual experience before they set foot in an airport.
Everyone can now explore Qatar Airways experiences with help from its MetaHuman cabin crew member, 'Sama' - a name meaning 'sky' in Arabic. Sama guides users through the various Qatar Airways' First Class check-in counters, Premium Lounges, and Business Class cabins.
The virtual journey now features the latest Business Class Suite on the Boeing 787-9, and the Qsuite on the Airbus A350-1000.
Travellers can also virtually tour the luxurious Al Safwa First Class Lounge and the Al Mourjan Business Class lounge at Hamad International Airport.
QVerse users can avail of a discount of up to 10% while exploring these new digital environments, applicable when booking Premium Class tickets with Qatar Airways.

Users of QVerse will be able to sample the immersive Qatar Airways experience before finalising their bookings to any of the over 160 destinations on the airline's network. While navigating QVerse, passengers will be shown the most competitive fares for the next six months, and they can further explore by previewing the onboard cabins, from seat features to a sample of the Business Class dining menus.
The products and services are now accessible to international travellers in more than 10 languages including Arabic, Chinese (traditional and simplified), English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Thai.
Qatar Airways first stepped into the metaverse with the launch of its virtual reality platform QVerse in April 2022. Initially, users could explore environments like the Premium Check-in area at HIA, Business Class – Qsuite through their personal electronic devices. The national airline of Qatar was the first in the world to introduce a MetaHuman cabin crew, providing a digital interactive customer journey.
