Starting 12th July, Qantas will fly a Boeing 787 Dreamliner on a 17-hour journey from Perth to Paris . The return service will run four times weekly during the peak European summer season and fly Australian atheletes to the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics.
The airline has unveiled a classic French-inspired menu, limited-edition pyjamas and amenity kits for premium passengers flying the route.
The Flying Kangaroo's food & beverage maestro Neil Perry has devised the French menu - which includes pithivier of chicken & tarragon, fresh tuna salad and crème caramel.
The airline is also offering its premium passengers a special amenity kit and pyjamas from the Melbourne-born fashion guru Martin Grant.
