JetBlue, renowned for revolutionizing the U.S. airline landscape, first introduced its Mint premium cabin in 2014, offering elevated comfort at competitive prices. The airline immediately challenged legacy carriers like United, American, and Delta, setting a new standard for premium transcontinental and international travel at accessible rates.
Now, JetBlue has ushered in a new chapter with Mint 2.0, debuting on its highly anticipated Transatlantic routes from JFK and Boston to London, as well as select flights between New York and Los Angeles. This reimagined product marks a significant leap forward, blending privacy, space, and innovation in the business class segment.
After years of meticulous design, Mint 2.0 is taking flight with 24 all-suite seats, each offering a fully enclosed private retreat. For travelers seeking an even more exclusive experience, JetBlue introduces two expansive Mint Studio suites per aircraft. These Studios, described as "sky apartments," deliver a remarkable 2.1 square meters (22.7 square feet) of personal space—currently the largest in any U.S. airline's premium cabin.
Each Mint Studio boasts a lie-flat bed over one meter wide, a dedicated guest seat, and a 22-inch high-definition entertainment display. The innovative design allows guests to share the space at cruising altitude, creating a social yet private environment.
Standard Mint suites are equally impressive, featuring lie-flat seating upholstered in eco-friendly vegan leather, 17-inch entertainment screens, and sliding doors for complete seclusion. The entire cabin is crafted for tranquility and tailored luxury.
Since 2020, JetBlue has partnered with renowned brands to enhance the onboard experience. Passengers enjoy curated dining menus, premium Master & Dynamic MH40 noise-isolating headphones, wellness amenities from Wanderfuel, and sleep kits by Tuft & Needle—ensuring rest and rejuvenation above the clouds.
Joanna Geraghty, JetBlue’s President and COO, reflects: “Mint was conceived to make premium travel inviting and accessible, and its success has surpassed our boldest ambitions. With Mint 2.0, we remain committed to delivering a thoughtfully designed, exceptional journey at a value that resonates with travelers.” Mint now features on over 30 routes, a testament to its broad appeal.
Operating primarily with Airbus 321 and 320 aircraft, JetBlue connects nearly 100 destinations across the U.S., Caribbean, and Latin America, continually expanding its reach and raising expectations in premium air travel.
