With the transformation of Terminal 8 at New York’s JFK Airport now complete, British Airways and American Airlines have elevated the premium lounge experience by debuting the Bridge Bar—a sophisticated new destination within their shared Greenwich Lounge. This exclusive bar blends classic glamour with contemporary mixology, offering a curated menu of signature cocktails, premium spirits, and artisanal non-alcoholic options. Among the highlights are Aviation American Gin, crafted from a blend of botanicals and co-owned by actor Ryan Reynolds, and Betty Buzz sparkling mixers, a brand developed by actress Blake Lively. Betty Buzz is renowned for its use of real fruit juice and commitment to natural ingredients, free from artificial flavors or sweeteners.
The Bridge Bar’s ambiance channels the golden era of jet-set travel, featuring a mid-century modern aesthetic reminiscent of the 1960s—complete with sleek lines, plush seating, and expansive views of the runway. Designed as a tranquil retreat, the space invites select premium travelers to unwind before their journey. The experience is further enhanced by the adjacent Tasting Room, which showcases a rotating selection of craft breweries. The inaugural partner, Brooklyn Brewery, offers an array of draft beers and curated beer flights for discerning palates.
Access to the Greenwich Lounge, including the Bridge Bar, is reserved for British Airways Club World passengers, American Airlines Flagship Business travelers, AAdvantage Platinum members on qualifying Flagship long-haul itineraries, and oneworld Sapphire or Business Class guests. The lounge consistently ranks among the top transatlantic airport lounges, recognized for its blend of comfort, service, and innovation in the 2025 Skytrax Awards.
