Emirates has revealed a striking new A380 livery adorned with the legendary Wimbledon insignia, celebrating its inaugural year as the Official Airline Partner of The Championships.
This bespoke aircraft design made its high-profile arrival at London Heathrow on July 1, heralding the commencement of the prestigious summer Grand Slam and captivating both aviation and tennis enthusiasts alike.
Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, remarked: “Wimbledon stands as a hallmark of sporting excellence, and we are proud to forge this partnership as Official Airline Partner. Our global network unites tennis fans from every corner of the world, and this collaboration allows us to deliver an unforgettable Wimbledon-inspired experience both in the skies and at The All England Lawn Tennis Club. This year, we are amplifying our presence with bold initiatives and exclusive offerings for our passengers and guests.”
The special livery will grace the A380 throughout The Championships, operating scheduled routes from Dubai to major destinations including London Heathrow, Manchester, Washington D.C., Paris, New York (JFK), Casablanca, Zurich, Brisbane, Barcelona, and Perth.
Throughout July, Emirates infuses “a taste of Wimbledon” across all UK-bound flights. Premium Economy guests can savour cream cheese mousse with strawberry compote, hazelnut streusel, and strawberry cheesecake, while First and Business Class travelers are indulged with strawberries and cream, artisan pastries, and lemon-strawberry cupcakes crowned with a commemorative Championships dessert topper. The signature A380 Onboard Lounge features custom-crafted Pimms cocktails, capturing the spirit of Wimbledon at 40,000 feet.
First Class passengers departing Dubai for the UK are presented with exclusive Emirates-branded Wimbledon 2025 towels as a bespoke keepsake.
As the Official Airline and Premier Partner of the ATP World Tour, Emirates maintains a commanding presence in the world of tennis, supporting all four Grand Slam tournaments and over 60 elite events annually.
Currently, Emirates operates 133 weekly flights to the UK, connecting seven gateways—London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, and Glasgow—using a modern fleet of A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft. The airline is also set to resume daily A350 flights to Edinburgh from November 4, enhancing its UK network in 2025.
