Emirates serves unlimited caviar and vintage Champagne in First Class

Emirates has invested £1.6 billion (Eur 1.9 billion), launching new services and initiatives to enhance inflight customer experience.

As part of the ‘Dine on Demand’ service, First Class passengers of the Dubai-based airline can now indulge in “unlimited” portions of Persian caviar, exquisitely matched with a limited-edition Dom Pérignon 2008 vintage Champagne, at any time throughout a flight. The caviar is beautifully presented on Royal Doulton chinaware with seven accompaniments, including melba toast and blinis, grated egg, finely chopped chives, white onions, sour cream and lemon, and is served with a mother-of-pearl spoon. Emirates is the only airline paired exclusively with the world-renowned luxury Champagne brand as the airline takes the First Class experience to the next level.

In addition to unlimited caviar and exceptional Champagnes, First Class passengers will be introduced to new multi-course fine dining menus from September. Options include pan-seared salmon trout with moqueca sauce and creole rice, roasted duck breast with orange thyme jus, steamed broccolini and fondant potatoes, accompanied by a fine selection of vintage wines. A new vegan menu offers passengers creative, plant-based gourmet meals, including pan-roasted king oyster mushroom, zucchini tart, jackfruit biryani and vegan mapo tofu. Desserts are described as a “decadent affair” and include delicious chocolate truffle cake with hazelnut, pistachio and gold leaf, or green grape tart adorned with candied rose petals, vanilla custard, and berry compote with yuzu pearls.

Other new First Class experience initiatives include fun and tasty on-demand snacks from the ‘Cinema Snack Menu’ as passengers relax and enjoy the vast choice from the inflight entertainment system. Delicious treats include moreish classics such as mini burger sliders, lobster rolls, shrimp cocktails, edamame, salted popcorn, and more. If that was not enough, the Emirates cabin crew will also come around with an impressive tray of fine luxury chocolates and sweets to tempt the taste buds and will even prepare a small box of sweet treats to take away after the flight upon request.
