The Delta One Lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport – larger than any Delta Sky Club – is poised to open.
Situated between Concourses A and B in Terminal 4, adjacent to the main security checkpoint, the expansive Delta One Lounge spans over 39,000 square feet. As the first of its kind and larger than any Delta Sky Club, this lounge offers a range of experiences and amenities for premium travellers, from fine dining to spa-like wellness treatments and valet services. Delta One ticket holders can tailor their lounge experience to suit their travel needs.
“Our teams have meticulously crafted an unforgettable experience for Delta One Lounge guests,” said Claude Roussel, Vice President – Delta Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience. “From the amenities to the personalised service, this lounge elevates the standard. We want our guests to feel both welcomed and valued the moment they arrive.”
The Delta One Lounge captures the essence of Manhattan, offering a unique atmosphere that makes passengers forget that they're in an airport. As New York City's newest attraction, it features design elements inspired by iconic city locations, providing surprises for both New Yorkers and design enthusiasts.
The premium bar, with its Art Deco-inspired lighting, nods to Radio City Music Hall. The white-marble counter at the Market and Bakery is reminiscent of retro delicatessen food counters. Fan-shaped marble mosaic tiles in the dining area pay tribute to New York brasseries, while the penny-round ceiling honours JFK's original terminal design by Eero Saarinen. The suspended lighting fixture in the dining room draws inspiration from the Brooklyn Bridge.
Reflecting JFK’s global reach, the lounge showcases art from international artists, creating a space that is modern yet rooted in the city's past.
Delta’s partnership with Missoni is evident in the lounge’s design accents, featuring the Italian fashion house’s signature zigzag patterns on pillows, vases, and coffee table books. This collaboration brings high-end design and superior craftsmanship to both the in-flight and ground experience.
The lounge caters to diverse preferences, whether you're looking to dine, relax, or work:
Fine Dining:The 140-seat Brasserie restaurant offers a three-course meal service, with culinary creations from Restaurant Associates and Union Square Events, including dishes like Hamachi crudo and lasagna Bolognese. The Market and Bakery: This offers seasonal culinary delights for walk-up service, allowing guests to set their own dining pace. Beverage Cart Service: Enjoy premium hospitality without leaving your seat.
Passengers can prepare for their in the wellness area, which features nine relaxation pods with full-body massage chairs, treatments from Grown-Alchemist certified therapists, and more. The adjacent Serenity Lounge offers a tranquil space with specialty lighting to help acclimate the body to the passenger's destination’s time zone.
Eight well-appointed shower suites provide a space to freshen up after long flights, complete with towels, bathrobes, slippers, and Grown Alchemist products. Valet services are available to steam or shine your clothes while you shower.
For those needing to work, the lounge offers eight individual soundproof booths and the option to borrow a second monitor.
The Terrace, with regional and seasonally updated plants, provides a lush outdoor oasis with views of the airfield, available year-round.
Delta’s commitment to a premium experience starts at check-in. Located on the main arrivals level of Terminal 4, Delta One customers are greeted by Elite Service agents with warm towels and refreshments. A private TSA screening lane will be added for extra exclusivity.
While the JFK Delta One Lounge is the first, more will open at LAX and Boston Logan International, expanding this premium experience to other hubs. Delta offers the most flights and seats of any carrier at JFK, with over 200 peak-day departures to more than 90 destinations. This summer, Delta’s largest trans-Atlantic schedule from JFK includes 240 weekly departures to 26 destinations. More services to South America and Africa are also on the horizon.
