Cathay Pacific has officially reopened The Deck, its signature Business Class lounge, at Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1, marking a pivotal moment in the carrier’s ongoing global lounge revitalization. This reopening complements the recent returns of The Wing (First Class) and The Pier (Business Class), both of which are once again welcoming guests after comprehensive enhancements.
Located conveniently at Gate 6, The Deck now boasts Cathay’s celebrated made-to-order Noodle Bar, where guests can savor authentic Sichuan dan dan noodles. The lounge’s sophisticated living room ambiance, complete with plush sofas and refined leather loungers, offers a tranquil haven for discerning travelers.
With seating for up to 180 guests, eight luxurious shower suites, and a serene relaxation zone featuring the highly sought-after bespoke Solo chairs, The Deck sets a new benchmark for airport comfort.
In addition, Cathay Pacific’s Singapore Changi Lounge at Terminal 4 is scheduled to reopen on February 22. Business Class passengers, as well as Silver, Gold, and Diamond Marco Polo Club members—and their Oneworld Sapphire and Emerald counterparts—will once again enjoy exclusive access, no longer needing to utilize the T4 Blossom Lounge.
The Narita International Airport lounge in Tokyo is also reopening this month. Situated at Gate 71, the refreshed space showcases commissioned works by renowned Japanese artists Belle Fleur and Arita Porcelain Lab, and now offers double its previous capacity to better serve premium flyers.
These strategic lounge reopenings underscore Cathay Pacific’s commitment to restoring its world-class hospitality following several challenging years for the aviation industry. Following recent launches at London Heathrow, Shanghai Pudong, and Tokyo Haneda, Cathay Pacific will unveil new or updated lounges in Bangkok Suvarnabhumi next month and Manila Ninoy Aquino International in April. Additional unveilings are slated for later this year in San Francisco, Beijing, Taipei, and Vancouver, reinforcing the airline’s global leadership in premium travel.
Businessclass scours hundreds of travel platforms to present the most competitive premium flight deals. Businessclass also aggregates rates from top-tier hotel providers to ensure you secure exceptional value at the world’s finest accommodations.
