This sophisticated addition is nestled within the airline’s flagship lounge, timed perfectly to enhance summer travel for premium flyers.
With this unveiling, British Airways becomes the first carrier to introduce a permanent Whispering Angel bar, inviting travelers to indulge in the acclaimed rosé from Château d’Esclans’ renowned Provence estate before departure.
The introduction of this signature bar is the centerpiece of a sweeping lounge transformation, with ongoing upgrades throughout 2025, including contemporary furnishings, bespoke seating, and a refreshed spatial layout designed for optimal comfort.
Guests in the Club (Business Class) lounges at both Heathrow and Gatwick can also enjoy The Pale rosé—another refined selection from the creators of Whispering Angel. Currently, Whispering Angel rosé is poured in the Concorde Room, First, and Club lounges, underscoring British Airways’ commitment to a premium beverage offering.
For those flying in First Class, the airline’s wine list now features Rock Angel, the fuller-bodied sibling of Whispering Angel, available exclusively to First Class guests for a limited three-month window.
Short-haul passengers can pre-order Whispering Angel’s signature Provence rosé via the High Life Café, British Airways’ reimagined inflight service platform, formerly the Speedbird Café, which launched with an updated menu in July 2024.
