For a limited number of services between London Heathrow and the key European cities of Frankfurt, Dublin, and Berlin, British Airways is deploying its widebody fleet, including the Boeing 777 and Boeing 787, to accommodate increased demand for both passengers and cargo. These routes are also usually operated by Airbus A320s.
While BA occasionally utilizes widebody aircraft for intra-European routes—such as the A380 on the London-Frankfurt sector—this remains a rare and exclusive opportunity.
