British Airways has unveiled the comprehensive refurbishment of its premium lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 5’s B gates, setting a new benchmark for luxury and comfort for discerning travelers.
The refreshed T5B lounge now features an interactive cooking station, where guests can enjoy chef-prepared seasonal cuisine crafted with the freshest local ingredients. Live culinary demonstrations add a sense of theatre to the dining experience, showcasing British Airways’ dedication to gastronomic excellence.
Those who prefer self-service will find an expanded gourmet deli counter, offering an extensive array of hot and cold dishes. From artisan breakfast selections to curated light bites and sandwiches, the updated menu caters to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences.
Throughout the lounge, custom-designed furnishings, upgraded flooring, and plush textiles create an inviting yet sophisticated ambiance. A dedicated quiet area now provides a serene retreat for guests seeking relaxation or privacy before boarding.
The completion of this renovation follows the successful launch of the exclusive Whispering Angel bar, where travelers can savor a glass of the celebrated rosé in an elegant setting.
Elsewhere at London Heathrow, British Airways has also refreshed its Terminal 3 First and Club lounges. The Club lounge now boasts a contemporary bar and bespoke seating, while the First lounge offers an enhanced Concorde Bar and private dining space for an elevated pre-flight experience.
In Terminal 5’s First lounge, a newly installed bar serves a selection of premium wines, champagnes, and expertly crafted non-alcoholic cocktails. The drinks menu has been meticulously curated by the airline’s Master of Wine, ensuring an exceptional beverage program.
British Airways has announced further upgrades across its global lounge network. The Concorde Room and Arrivals lounge at Terminal 5 will soon see new furnishings, with the Concorde Room introducing day beds for ultimate relaxation later this year. Edinburgh and Seattle lounges are also slated for enhancements, including refreshed bars and updated dining concepts throughout 2025.
