All Nippon Airways (ANA) is poised to redefine the in-flight and lounge experience for its passengers starting this September. The airline has announced an extensive revamp to its wine offerings in the ANA lounges, which will subsequently be made available on international flights from December.
Out of a selection of over 1,000 wine varieties, 41 - including some from Japan - have been handpicked with the assistance of globally-acclaimed sommeliers - Olivier Poussier and Satoru Mori. Passengers will be presented with a wine list that rivals those found in world-class restaurants.
In response to popular demand, the updated wine roster will continue to feature perennial favorites that have become synonymous with the ANA flying experience. These classics will sit alongside new, diverse options, ensuring a well-rounded selection that caters to a broad spectrum of customer palates.
ANA Champagne Selections:
ANA international Business Class flights offer: Champagne Drappier 1er Cru Brut and Champagne France Champagne Castelnau
ANA international First Class flights offer: Champagne Krug Grande Cuvee and Champagne Charles Heidsieck
ANA Suite Lounges offer: Cuvee Jean Baptiste Paul Dangin & Fils Champagne and Champagne Charles Collin Brut Classique
Also starting on September 1st, ANA will offer vegan curry as part of its in-flight light meal menu, available on select international Business Class and First Class routes.
The authentic plant-based curry was developed by Daigo, a two Michelin star restaurant in Tokyo. The curry is made exclusively from locally-sourced vegetables and fruits and does not contain any animal ingredients or flour.
