Air France unveils new A350 Business Class seat

Air France has officially launched its reimagined Business Class suite, now gracing the airline’s flagship Airbus A350-900s. This premium cabin, now standard across all 41 A350-900s, is set to redefine luxury travel for long-haul journeys by 2025, establishing a new industry benchmark for comfort, privacy, and innovation.

Each suite features an expansive sliding privacy door and transforms into a fully flat bed nearly two meters in length, ensuring restorative rest above the clouds. The centrepiece is a 20-inch 4K Ultra HD anti-glare monitor—currently the largest available on Air France’s long-haul aircraft. Passengers enjoy Bluetooth headphone pairing, a responsive touch interface, and an intuitive "do not disturb" mode, all designed for a seamless in-flight experience. Connectivity is comprehensive, with USB-A, USB-C, wireless charging, and high-speed Wi-Fi at every seat. Couples and colleagues benefit from a central divider that can be lowered or raised for tailored privacy or interaction.

Drawing inspiration from the airline’s storied heritage, guests are welcomed by the iconic illuminated winged seahorse upon boarding. The cabin’s sophisticated ambiance is elevated with oversized panoramic windows featuring automated shading and seating upholstered in premium French leather, soft wool, and brushed aluminium. Signature Air France red embroidery and plush cushioning add a bespoke, tactile touch.

The Business Class layout is thoughtfully engineered around the "three Fs" philosophy: Full Flat beds, Full Direct Aisle Access, and Full Privacy. Discreet sliding doors and adjustable center panels deliver both seclusion and flexibility for every traveler. Each suite is equipped with a personal storage compartment, noise-cancelling headphones, a vanity mirror, and generous space for personal effects, reflecting the airline’s commitment to passenger convenience.

Technology is seamlessly integrated. The 20-inch (51 cm) 4K screen—the largest in Air France’s fleet—sets the stage for an immersive entertainment journey. Bluetooth connectivity, tactile controls, and the "do not disturb" function enable travelers to curate their environment. Power outlets, wireless charging, and a robust Wi-Fi network ensure you stay connected from gate to gate.

The refreshed A350s now feature a tri-class configuration: 48 Business Class suites, 32 Premium Economy seats, and 212 Economy seats.

Premium Economy guests benefit from deeply reclining seats, generous legroom, and enhanced ergonomic cushioning. Each seat is fitted with a 13.3-inch (34 cm) 4K Ultra HD screen with Bluetooth audio and full access to Air France Connect’s high-speed Wi-Fi, reflecting Air France’s ongoing investment in passenger experience.
