Michael Roth, with two Michelin stars and the prestigious Bocuse d'Or and Meilleur Ouvrier de France titles to his name, has teamed up with Air France to produce the First Class (La Première) menu. Customers will enjoy an appetiser of caviar Sturia with a pancake and smoked fish cream, a starter of lobster medallion with asparagus and a raspberry vinaigrette.

Her meals include braised beef, potato mousseline, plum chutney, and tarragon breadcrumbs; artichoke barigoule, creamy polenta, smoked vanilla burrata, and tangy tomato coulis; and seashell pasta, chard and lemon coulis, lightly smoked goat cheese cream, and roasted pumpkin seeds.

Air France will always offer a vegetarian option, and children's menus will be produced entirely from fully-organic ingredients. The SkyTeam Alliance member is committed to sustainable, nutritious catering and aims to offer customers 100 percent French meat, dairy products, eggs, and sustainably-caught fish, on all flights from Paris, by the end of 2022. All meals will be prepared exclusively in France.

Business Class passengers will be encouraged to pre-select their hot meals before departure to reduce food waste while also guaranteeing customer choice.

La Première

La Première is Air France’s most exclusive cabin – available on its Boeing 777-300 aircraft – and available on a handful of routes from its Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport hub.

La Première features just four seats in its own cabin and ranks above Business Class on the Air France luxury pecking order. On routes from CDG to destinations that include Washington, Hong Kong, Dubai and Johannesburg, La Première passengers are treated to individual suites that feature extra wide flat-beds that sit more than two metres in length.
