On Friday, Air France will debut the inaugural flight of a Boeing 777-300ER - from Paris to New York - that will feature its upgraded premum cabins.
Nicknamed Fontainebleau, the 777 boasts a new long-haul Business Class cabin with fully-reclining seats and and sliding privacy doors. There are 48 seats in the new Business Class cabin and the new seat adheres to the Paris-based airline's “3 Fs” - full flat, full access and full privacy. The bed is nearly 2 metres (78 inches) long and gives direct aisle access due to its reverse herringbone layout. The centre seats have a central panel that can be lowered allowing passengers that travel together to interact more closely. Each seat has electrical points and features a 17.3-inch 4K hi-definition, anti-glare wide screen, with Bluetooth facilities so passengers can use their own headphones.
The seats use French leather and are accentuated with brushed aluminium and rendered in wool. Air France's winged seahorse emblem is ever present.
In Premium Economy, there are also 48 seats - with a recliner seat already available on the Air France A350 fleet. Passengers enjoy 96 centimetres (37 inches) of legroom, a recline of 124 degrees, charging points and widescreen 13.3-inch 4K HD screens with integrated noise reducing headset.
