Air France flies new Business Class on long-haul Boeing 777-300ER
Air France has launched its state-of-the-art Business Class experience aboard the Boeing 777-300ER, operating on the flagship Paris to New York route. This introduction marks a significant milestone in premium long-haul travel, showcasing the airline’s commitment to innovation and passenger comfort.
The aircraft, named Fontainebleau, features an entirely redesigned Business Class suite that sets a new benchmark for privacy and relaxation. The 48 suites each offer full-flat beds stretching nearly 2 meters (78 inches), direct aisle access thanks to a reverse herringbone configuration, and sliding privacy doors for an exclusive retreat in the sky. For companions traveling together, central seats include an adjustable divider that can be lowered for a more sociable flight experience. Every seat is equipped with personal power outlets and a 17.3-inch 4K ultra-high-definition, anti-glare touchscreen, complete with Bluetooth pairing for seamless use of personal headphones.
Distinctively French design elements are found throughout, with seats upholstered in supple French leather, wool accents, and brushed aluminum finishes. The iconic Air France winged seahorse emblem is tastefully integrated into the cabin’s sophisticated aesthetic.
Premium Economy travelers are also treated to an enhanced offering, with 48 spacious seats modeled after those found on the Air France A350 fleet. These seats provide 96 cm (37 inches) of pitch, a generous 124-degree recline, USB and universal power ports, and crystal-clear 13.3-inch 4K HD screens equipped with advanced noise-reducing headsets.
