Air France - new gourmet cuisine in Paris CDG lounges and unveils new long-haul amenity kits

Travelers flying with Air France through Paris–Charles de Gaulle now enjoy an enhanced culinary journey, as the airline collaborates with acclaimed Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse, renowned culinary innovator François Adamski, and rising star Chloé Charles. Across the expansive long-haul lounges in Terminal 2E’s K, L, and M halls, guests are treated to sophisticated French gastronomy designed by the prestigious Ducasse Paris team. Among the standout creations is the innovative ‘Burgal’—a modern, plant-based twist on the classic burger, crafted from locally sourced grains and vegetables, reflecting Air France’s commitment to healthy, sustainable dining.

The ‘Burgal’ features a vegan brioche bun enveloping a flavorful vegetable and legume patty, complemented by a zesty vegan mayo, tangy pickles, and a rich aubergine caviar—a gourmet option catering to diverse dietary preferences. Additional highlights include a vibrant salad with a signature house dressing crafted from raw, unprocessed ingredients and a decadent chocolate praline dessert exclusive to the lounge experience.

For those departing on short and medium-haul flights from Terminal 2F, Air France offers an exclusive menu conceived by Bocuse d’Or laureate François Adamski and Chloé Charles, a trailblazer in sustainable and responsible cuisine. This partnership brings refined, seasonal fare to the forefront, with dishes such as smoked shrimp in a citrus-forward sauce, spiced lamb shoulder with a delicate reduction, semolina with confit vegetables, and Camargue rice sautéed with Antillean spices and a medley of spring vegetables.

Since mid-2022, Air France has pledged that all meat, dairy, eggs, baked goods, and fish offered in its Paris–Charles de Gaulle lounges are 100% French-sourced and, where applicable, certified sustainable—a commitment that continues to set industry standards in 2025.

Business Class and Premium Economy travelers on long-haul journeys now also receive thoughtfully designed amenity kits, crafted with environmental responsibility in mind. These new kits utilize recycled and upcycled materials, reflecting Air France’s ongoing sustainability initiatives.

The Business Class kit features an elegant herringbone motif and the airline’s iconic winged seahorse logo. Offered in refined navy blue and beige with a signature red zipper, the kit is composed of 96% recycled materials. Inside, guests discover premium Clarins skincare—hydrating hand cream and face gel—alongside an eco-friendly bamboo toothbrush, earplugs, a plush eye mask, soft socks, and toothpaste.

Premium Economy amenity kits showcase Air France’s signature stripes in both blue-and-white colorways, highlighted by the signature red zipper pull. Made with 89% recycled content, these kits include a sustainable toothbrush, toothpaste, earplugs, cozy travel socks, and a comfortable night mask, ensuring a restful journey for every passenger.
