Air Canada has unveiled its latest enhancement to the in-flight experience - exclusive original content from Apple TV+.
Award-winning shows like Ted Lasso, Bad Sisters, Severance, Morning Show and Foundation are now being offered to its passengers travelling internationally.
Air Canada, renowned for its in-flight entertainment, offers over 420 movies, more than 1,000 television episodes, over 130 music albums & podcasts. Air Canada offers all this content free on its inflight entertainment equipped aircraft.
Following its recent team-up with Mattel to offer popular kids' shorts, Air Canada's new venture with Apple further cements its commitment to enhancing the passenger experience.
Since May, Air Canada has been providing free messaging to all Aeroplan members globally on all Wi-Fi enabled aircraft across its fleet, including Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Express flights. Customers can send and receive text messages onboard through well-known apps including Apple's iMessage, Meta's WhatsApp and Messenger, Rakuten's Viber, and Messages by Google.
As of last November, Air Canada took the lead as the sole Canadian carrier to offer live Canadian TV, inclusive of both English and French channels. This allows customers to support their preferred sports teams by watching international sports events live, as well as stay updated with live news on flights equipped for it.
