AEGEAN - new Business Class, new non-EU routes

AEGEAN  - Greece's largest airline - is to invest in an enhanced version of the Airbus A321neo, designed to cater specifically to non-EU markets, particularly those to the South and South-East of Greece.

This initiative involves the creation of a "special purpose" sub-fleet comprising four initially commissioned A321neo aircraft. These aircraft will be equipped with extended range capabilities through additional fuel tanks, enabling flights of up to 7.5 hours.

The cabin configuration will undergo a significant overhaul to enhance comfort for Business Class passengers, reducing the overall seat count from the standard 220 to fewer than 180 seats.

Enhanced features will include satellite connectivity, in-flight entertainment screens at every seat, and a premium lie-flat seat option for Business Class travellers.
