All-suite The Emory - sister to Claridge's - to open in London

The Maybourne Group which manages three of London's most prestigious luxury hotels - Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley - has announced the opening of its fourth - The Emory - later this year.

The 60 all-suite hotel will sit on Knightsbridge - overlooking Hyde Park - and was designed by the late, great architect Richard Rogers - who also designed 3 World Trade Center and Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport.

Set over 9 floors and boasting a magnificent penthouse, some of the world's top interior designers - Alexandra Champalimaud, André Fu, Pierre Yves Rochon, Rémi Tessier and Patricia Urquiola - have been engaged to produce an original hotel masterpiece. 

The hotel restaurant will be helmed by masterchef Jean-Georges Vongerichten - bringing his ABC food concept to London from New York for the first time - and the spa will feature a 22-metre underground swimming pool.
