19 Oktober 2012Hello hakonko and hello to all of you that have voted on this idea. Yes, I agree with you – some of our aircrafts do look a bit soiled and are in need of repaint or wash! Currently we have an ongoing program for our smaller aircrafts where we plan to repaint 20 aircrafts per year. The B737’s are first in line and up till now this year we have painted 14 of our B737’s. Before the year is ended we will have painted another 5 which counts to 19 repainted B737’s this year 2012. The plan continues next year with the same amount, 20 aircrafts for repaint yearly. When it comes to our bigger aircrafts A330/340s we’re looking at different alternatives. Our challenge is to be able to take them out of traffic the time needed for a repaint. We’re analyzing consequenses for different alternatives and I and my collegues are looking forward to a solution enabling us to make a plan for the future. We have introduced a new system for the painting that will keep the colors better and will also make it easier to keep the aircrafts clean. Great that you like or livery on the A340s! We do regulary wash this aircrafttype as we have the opportunity to do so at one of our longer stops. Finally, the nice (not white) color on the fuselage of our aircrafts has – in my ears – a beautiful name; it’s called SAS Pearl Grey ;-) Take care! Christina{Hello Christina and SAS! I was at Arlanda a few days ago, when I was flying with you. I just want to say that it shows that you have repainted many of your Boeing 737! Great! The engines were red and had the "scandinavian" text again, the planes shone so nicely in the spring sun! I was also in Copenhagen and noticed your new painted Airbus A320! But your A321 is still in need of repainting. Keep up the good work!}13 Januar 2014Hello TO! Thanks ever so much for your positive comment! I'm truly glad that you have noticed our repainting and cleaning! Sorry I missed you comment - but better a late answer than no answer, wouldn't you say?! Take care! ChristinaKlicka för att utvidga...
