What is a member year?​A member year is a 12-month period that kicks off the day you became part of Scandic Friends and wraps up one year later on the last day of the same month. For example, if you signed up on May 12, 2024, your first member year would run from May 12, 2024, to May 31, 2025. Your next year of membership would then start on June 1, 2025, and end on May 31, 2026. Then for the next member year, we look at the Qualification points and Qualifying nights you've earned throughout the current member year. Once the year ends, these points and nights will expire.

Jag hittar ingen information om mitt medlemsdatum men fick förklarat tidigare att det är någon typ av rullande ettårs-system med nya programmet. Oklart om det stämmer dock.

Ja precis. Jag hittar inte info om när jag blev medlem. Men om jag hittar på när poäng går ut så kan det överensstämma med medlemsår, detta är 2027-06-30.



Och i historiken står det

+500 Välkomstbonus 25 jun 2024



Dock osäker på om dessa poäng var för att man installerade appen eller om man blev medlem.

I vart fall bör man försöka time'a statusmatchningen/länkningen?

Jag tror timing inte har någon skillnad, utan status i ens huvudprogram dikterar när matchade programmets nivå ändrar:




3.8When using Status Matching, the expiry date, i.e. the membership level expiry date, in the program where you have your highest membership level will be applied to the membership level and associated benefits received in the matched program. However, if you after having used the Status Matching, earn the same higher membership level in the matched program through the regular program rules, the ordinary rules for qualification period and expiry date will apply for such membership level.Klicka för att utvidga...

Andra tolkningar? Eller nån djupare nytta i att tajma? Kanske ifall man vill byta från ena till andra programmet, så är det nyttigt att ha fördelarna medan man försöker samla ihop statusen ”naturligt”.
 
Jag hade hoppats att detta skulle vara på plats nu. Har någon kanske fått kalla fötter? Anko kanske tycker det blir för många Diamond precis som det blev för många EB miljonärer?

Statusmatchningen är äntligen live. Finns på SAS Beta sida och fungerar i Edge.

Med andra ord helt bekräftat att alla Loyal och True hos Scandic blir matchade till Guld respektive Diamant. En otrolig förmån för alla Scandicmedlemmar med dessa statusar måste jag säga. Grattis till er!
 
Imorgon blir det frukost på lokala Scandic!



EDIT: Ser att utgångsdatumet blev nedan, är detta baserat på att mitt EBD går ut vid årskiftet och att man sen har 3 månaders grace eller baseras det på annat?

Trevligt! Frågan är nu hur man ger bort ett "Loyal Friend" medlemskap som "True Friend" i Scandiprogrammet. Någon som vet?
 
Verkar inte finnas något erbjudande om startbonus eller liknande som ”ny” medlem i Scandic Friends vad jag kan se.
