Furthermore, as you have requested, we have authorised the refund of the fare difference for the involuntary downgrade you experienced. Our refund department will issue the refund onto the original form of payment within the next 6-8 weeks.
Det stod ingen sum så det bli spennende å se hvor mye det blir Oppdater igjen når jeg har fått tilbakeført pengene. De ville også gi meg penger for utgifter til mat osv, men jeg gikk tilbake til lounge så jeg hadde ikke noe ekstra. De ville ikke gi meg penger for selve forsinkelsen, men for meg ble det kun 4 timer til sluttdestinasjon.
As you may be aware the delay of 28.08 hours to flight LH441 was due to an unforeseeable technical defect with the aircraft. In order to maintain the safety of our customers and flight crew, unfortunately we had to postpone the departure of this flight.
May we kindly advise that as the irregularity was caused by extraordinary circumstances that could not be avoided even if all reasonable measures have been taken, unfortunately we are unable to make an offer of compensation. We are conforming to the stipulations of the Regulation (EC) 261/2004, Article 5 paragraph 3 and Recital 14
