Så fort det stod klart att Celtic skulle möta Barcelona i Champions League så reserverade jag ett rum på Radisson Blu i Glasgow. FC Barcelona bodde nämligen där senast man var på besök vilket fick mig att chansa och hoppas på att man kanske får bo på samma hotell. (gjort det förr)
Idag (mer än 1 månad efter bokning) får jag följande mail:
Dear Mr Eriksson,
Thank you for booking the Radisson Blu Glasgow on Tuesday 1st October.
Unfortunately we have had an issue with our booking system which has left the hotel over booked. We have tried to rectify this situation however due to the number of group rooms and length of stay we are unable to accommodate you on this night.
We have however made alternative arrangements to accommodate you at our sister hotel, The Park Inn, which is located on West George Street approximately 5 minutes from ourselves Your room rate at the Park inn will be reduced to £155.00 per night inclusive of internet, breakfast & VAT.
Please accept our sincere apologies for this inconvenience and understand that this is most definitely not common practise for ourselves. If you require anything else at all please do not hesitate to get in contact with me.
Texten ovan är ju bara massa load of crap. Kan verkligen en fotbollsklubb bara kasta ut gäster som redan har existerande bokningar långt tillbaka i tiden?
Har jag några rättigheter? Kan jag göra någonting? Kompensation i form av CC poäng?
