It seems like Visa and Mastercard — and presumably Amex — have already now adjusted the exchange rates for Wednesday's EGP devaluation. Between that and how currency exchange databases go with airline ticket pricing, various Egyptian departure deals related to the currency devaluation are probably drying up or dried up so watch out for repricing in the process.



Even before this EGP devaluation, CAI-CPH-CAI has been in about this same price range on Aegean Airlines, for example.



Whenever a government devalues its currency, I am on the lookout for fare deals. Have to be quick to really maximize playing the currency devaluation game to get more flight for your money.
