Arlanda Express har världens bästa kundservice bland flygplatståg
Även för flygplatståg finns det en utmärkelse, Global AirRail Awards heter den internationella tävlingen som varje år anordnas av organisationen Global AirRail Alliance (GARA). I slutet på maj avgjordes 2013-års tävling i samband med en ceremoni på Frankfurts flygplats, totalt deltog 31 finalister från hela världen.
Priset för bästa kundservice gick till svenska Arlanda Express, i nära konkurrens med Heathrow Express. Arlanda Express vann även pris för sitt miljöarbete. Ett annat flygplatståg som tog hem många utmärkelser var det nya flygplatståget Aeroexpress Vladivostok i Vladivostok i östra Ryssland.
