Business Class on Cathay Pacific:
Most Cathay Pacific aircraft have one large Business Class section and a smaller cabin behind the entry door and galley. There is no charge to assign a seat when flying Business Class or reserving this specific aft cabin. All seats recline to a flat bed and measure 1.9 metres (6.25 feet long) of usable sleeping space.
Cathay Pacific offers a 1-2-1 seating setup on all its long-haul aircraft (Boeing B777 and Airbus A330 and A350). Every seat in the cabin has direct aisle access and maximum privacy. The airline uses reverse herringbone seats that face slightly away from the aisle and feature small, winged headrests. Pairs of seats in the centre section are ideal for couples because you can lean forward and chat together or sit back in privacy thanks to a central divider.
The flagship Airbus A350 aircraft offer extra-wide cabins with reduced noise and intelligent lighting to aid rest and sleep. The A350-900 provides 38 fully-flat Business Class seats with a forward cabin of eight rows and a more intimate cabin of just two rows behind the exit doors. In contrast, the A350-1000 has a single Business Class cabin of 46 lie-flat beds over 12 rows.
The Airbus A330-300 comes in two long-haul configurations with seating in the 1-2-1 set-up for up to 39 Business Class passengers depending on the aircraft seating plan. Meanwhile, the Boeing 777-300 offers two long-haul configurations of 40 and 53 Business Class seats over two cabins.
Dining on Cathay Pacific is a treat, and on many flights, you can pre-order your preferred dish online to guarantee your selection is available. Menus, designed to look like a small newspaper, outline all the service offerings for the flight. It includes articles and pictures about some of the dishes offered, which is an entertaining way to learn about global cuisine. The crew takes orders via a tablet, allowing them to address passengers by name and get your order right – it is restaurant service in the air.
Before takeoff, passengers can choose between Champagne (the label varies, but include Billecart-Salmon Brut Champagne or Deutz Brut Classic Champagne), water or, on many flights, the delicious Cathay Delight.
Amenity kits offer Bamford toiletry products and are well-stocked with what you might need to stay hydrated and refreshed on a long flight. Slippers are available at each seat. Lavatories stock more products like hand lotion and facial mist from Bamford. Plush pillows and luxurious, sustainably sourced 400-thread count cotton bedlinen by Bamford help passengers enjoy one of the best rests in the sky.

Premium Economy Sale!
Cathay Pacific has one of the best Premium Economy cabins in the world and is also now offering great fares from London Heathrow and Manchester .
What is Premium Economy?
Premium Economy was first introduced to the world in 1991 and was created as a bridge between economy and Business Class. It offers passengers better perks, points and legroom than economy and is ideal for cost-conscious passengers - especially families - on longer haul routes.
Over time, as many airlines drop First Class, Premium Economy has become the "middle” cabin and has taken on greater importance. Better cuisine, inflight entertainment and enhanced amenity kits are being offered - making it a much more luxurious experience than in the past. You still will not have use of a dedicated lounge or amazing suites that are available only to First and Business Class passengers but speedier boarding always helps!
