The Royal Horseguards

The Royal Houseguards Hotel is situated at the heart of the city, opposite the River Thames, close to The Mall, St James’s Park, 10 Downing Street and Trafalgar Square. Housed within grand Victorian buildings which were originally built for The National Liberal Club and adjoining apartments, Winston Churchill, William Gladstone and David Lloyd-George were frequent visitors. For history buffs, ask to see the Grade I listed events space with its marble columns, carved fireplaces, monumental chandeliers and ornate inlaid ceilings.
