Shangri-La Toronto as one of Toronto’s tallest buildings defines elegance. The hotel’s popular lobby draws locals as well as in-house guests. Screen panels, a long black marble fireplace as well as the hotel’s rotating exhibits of couture dresses anchor the room, the live music adding to the ambience. 

Hand-blown green and amber Bocci glass and pale oak lattices front Bosk, the hotel’s Asian-inspired forest-themed signature restaurant. On the fifth floor, find the impressive 24-hour fitness centre and adjacent yoga studio. Spin classes and personal trainers are available. The pool area is a little world all its own, with cascading water columns, a solarium seating area, a huge whirlpool, private terry-lined cabanas, and an infrared sauna. Miraj Hammam by Caudalie, Paris, also on the fifth floor, offers a mix of Middle Eastern hammam and French vinotherapy with 12 treatment rooms and two hammams.
