NoMo Soho lies in New York’s SoHo district, housed within a 26-story building - the tallest freestanding structure in the neighbourhood – and offering unparalleled views out over the city. Close to designer shops, boutiques, galleries, acclaimed restaurants and bars, it is within easy walking distance of TriBeCa, Chinatown and the Upper East Side with Brooklyn Bridge and City Hall just a little bit further afield. Public transport is nearby allowing easy access to the entire city. With 264 guest rooms and suites inspired by the past yet still with cloaked with a contemporary vibe (hence the name NoMo for nostalgic and modern), the ambiance is satisfyingly chic with a light airy feel and a palette of whites and blues. Expect floor to ceiling windows making the most of those urban views, comfortable beds with Frette linens and marble bathrooms with power showers and C O Bigelow bathroom amenities. Rooms range in size from the cosy 18 to 20 square metre Classic Queen to the 34 square metre Crosby Balcony Suite with a prized private terrace to look out over the urban landscape. The largest are the NoMo Balcony Suites at 49 – 53 square metres with dual aspect windows and balconies with unobstructed views from the 25th floor. 

When it comes to dining, head to NoMo Kitchen for a seasonal American menu with farm to fork options in a pretty greenhouse setting with an accompanying bar for freshly made cocktails. Alternatively, enjoy light bites and beverages throughout the day at the Library Café, complete with stunning tiered crystal chandeliers overhead. Although the hotel does not have its own on-site spa, arrangements can be made with the many wellness options in close proximity to the property, many partnering to offer discounts for guests. There is a 24/7 fitness centre available accessible via a room key and equipped with cardio, strength equipment and free weights. Of note, you enter via an Instagram-worthy leafy tunnel and can hang out in the hotel’s private (and pretty) Rose Garden filled with pink roses and lush green planting.
