Maradiva Villas Resort and Spa

The Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa is located in Wolmar – 50 minutes from the airport and just 30 minutes from the capital city - Port Louis. Opened in 2004, this all-villa resort looks over Tamarin Bay. It features 65 villas that range from a sizeable 163 square metres up to 345 square metres. Each has its own private pool and outdoor dining area. Guests can expect oodles of luxury – with flat screen plasma televisions, espresso machines, Blaise Mautin bathroom amenities and indoor & al fresco showers. Plunge pools start at 15 square metres and rise to 56 square metres for a Presidential Villa infinity swimming pool. The restaurant Coast2Coast, serves Mediterranean, Mauritian and International cuisines in a relaxed ambience. The specialty restaurant Cilantro is opened for an Indian Fine dining. It also boasts a vibrant teppanyaki counter with a more convivial ambiance. The Lounge Bar Breakers, exudes a contemporary yet intimate atmosphere and serves light meals and a wide selection of international wines and spirits and has a live entertainment every night. Guests can also enjoy meals in the villas or on the beach under stars! Just a 15-minute drive from the resort, is the magnificent 18-hole Par 72 championship golf course of Tamarina Estate, designed by renowned golfer Rodney Wright. For non-golfers there is a plethora of sports available. Sail boating, kayaking, deep sea fishing, Scuba, tennis, beach volleyball, cycling and yoga is on offer. The sports centre offers cardio and free weights with fitness trainers on hand to help. The Maradiva Spa has two Ayurveda treatment rooms, couple rooms, yoga pavilion, Hammam, Lacomium, Sanarium, hydrotherapy areas and massages, facials, wraps and cleansing. For children between the ages of 4 and 12, there is a special program – designed to excite and interest young minds & bodies.
