Le Narcisse Blanc & Spa

A BusinessClass.com Verified Hotel

Le Narcisse Blanc Hôtel & Spa is an elegant little property, located on the Left Bank in the seventh arrondissement, close to the Musée d’Orsay, Les Invalides and the Musée Rodin. Named for the Belle Epoque dancer Cléo de Mérode who became a muse to Klimt, Lautrec and Proust with her portraits seen throughout the property, the design for the 30 guest rooms and seven suites is inspired by her timeless femininity and beauty, with sleek clean lines, a satisfying, sophisticated simplicity and a neutral, multi-textured colour palette contrasting with the black marble and white tilled bathrooms. A former office building just a 15 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, some of the guest rooms have furnished landscaped terraces or wrought iron balconies, others have marble fireplaces and overlook the small, courtyard garden or a Parisian side street but all share a commonality of tone and feel – at once nodding to an historic Parisian style whilst offering a contemporary, chic space in warm neutral tones of pinks, pastels and beiges. Room sizes range from 22 to 32 square metres whilst suites are sized from 36 to 40 square metres. Classic Suites are uncluttered and have a pleasing symmetry whilst the Aurore has a private rooftop terrace, perfect for watching the sun rise in the morning. The Cléo has a similar feel and is the signature suite of the property whilst On the Rooftops of Paris is just that – a perfect, artistic space from which to enjoy the city.

For pampering and fitness, there is a small Spa by Clarins in the basement with a 13-metre resistance indoor pool, a Hammam, a sauna, a fitness space and a treatment room for a range of facial and body treatments – just for guest use. When it comes to food and drink, chef Bruno Aubin offers a creative menu of reinvented French classics using the freshest of seasonal ingredients, locally sourced, served in the all-day dining room looking out over the pretty courtyard garden. For those interested in wine, Bruno has also created a Mets & Vins (food and wine pairing) menu in collaboration with Vianney de Tastes, cellar master at their partner vineyard, Château Soucherie. Guests may also book an overnight stay at Le Domaine de la Soucherie with wine tastings and tours of the estate.
