Hotel Molitor Paris - MGallery

A BusinessClass.com Verified Hotel

Hôtel Molitor Paris – MGallery is located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, close to the Bois de Boulogne and the Jardin des Serres d’Auteuil – perfect for taking the air - with the Stade Roland Garros nearby, the French Open held there a lure for tennis addicts, Le Parc des Princes for soccer fans, whilst for culture buffs, the Musée Rodin is also in the vicinity. What makes this hotel a little different than the norm however is that it sits on the site of a much-loved former sporting facility from the 1930s (opened by Hollywood star Johnny Weismuller no less) which was eventually abandoned, its walls adorned by street artists before being brought back to life again. Architect Jean-Philippe Nuel was tasked with making these baths fit for the modern era, faithfully recreating the historic areas of the property including a heated indoor winter pool housed beneath a towering glass roof whilst the hotel completely surrounds a second larger pool – the 46-metre heated outdoor summer pool. These are just some of the impressive facilities of the property which boasts 117 contemporary guest rooms and seven suites, ranging in size from a cosy 22 square metres for the entry level Classic Rooms up to the apartment feel of the 60 square metre Grand Suite. Set over three floors, dressed with a minimalist appeal and a muted neutral colour palette, each room features all the bells and whistles required today – Nespresso machines, Clarins products, Sofitel MyBed luxury linens and so forth – some rooms feature round porthole windows whilst others offer private landscaped terraces.

This urban retreat also features reputedly the largest hotel spa in Europe at 1,600 square metres of space – The Spa by Clarins, offering 13 treatment rooms including two for couples and a 50 square metre private suite complete with sauna and a private spa. Offering a vast array of treatments, therapies and consultations, other facilities include Hammams, saunas, relaxation lounges, a yoga studio and The Club Molitor. A 1,500 square metre fitness facility packed with TechnoGym equipment and focussed on cardio and weight training, The Club Molitor also offers a schedule of group classes (fitness, yoga and swimming), a herbal tea room and a Molitor hair salon. Wellness offerings range from cryotherapy, to osteopathy, nutrition and coaching. When it comes to food and drink, head to the Molitor Brasserie for a menu of reinterpreted traditional classics favouring short supply chains for the best of French produce with brunch every Sunday. Every Wednesday, for the sweet toothed, experience a Goûter de Louise Riot with a pastry buffet by the talented pâtissier. The restaurant 1929, by way of contrast, is situated between the two pools and offers a European menu for hotel
